AN ALPHA WITH MANY STORIES.. Choi Hyun-seok was born to a rather wealthy family, his childhood rough as his father treated both Hyunseok and his mother poorly. Hyunseok left the family home at the age of thirteen and soon became involved with different, rough groups of alphas after presenting as one himself. He eventually has several run-ins with the law before his life settles down in his early twenties as the result of an injury he sustained to his left side in a particularly nasty fight. Now, Hyunseok works at his own law firm company. Despite his reputation, the firm is successful and works with quite large names in the city of Seoul.

Due to past traumas inflicted on him as a young boy, as well as the packs he found himself in throughout his adolescence &. early adulthood, Hyun-seok struggles with his mental health. His insomnia grows worse the harder he works, burying himself in piles of paperwork when his depression tries so hard to pull him under. Occasionally, when the world feels as though its caving in on him, he begins to see things that aren’t real— he struggles with separating truth with what is only inside his head, only ever confiding in his best friend &. firm partner Chan-woo about the instances.He uses his profession as a coping mechanism, having traded in alcohol &. heavy drug use for frustrated defendants &. tough juries. Hyunseok finds his thrill, his will to keep pushing through, in the court cases he wins &. in the reports his writes, if only for himself.

FALLEN ANGEL, FALLEN MAN.

WHAT YOU CANNOT GIVE, I SUPPOSE I’LL TAKE. AN alpha born from loud mistakes, not by love, Hyun-seok learned from an early age that he was nothing more than an object brought into the world to be used &. discarded. A violent father, a compliant mother.. Despite the wealth of his family, nothing could make up for the lack of warmth &. care that seemed to hang heavy no matter where he went. No matter what clothes he was given— toys, food, &. necessities.. it could never make up for the things he was put through.And so, he ran.He ran so young, falling victim of several rough families &. people as he grew into his teen years. Presenting as an alpha at the age of sixteen, much to the dismay of certain individuals whom he’d been staying with at the time, it gave Hyunseok a sense of control he’d gone so long without. It gave him confidence, though it would only be taken down. Years of fights, broken homes, violent people led him to a turning point— a murder. Almost.The victim? Him.Except he fought, harder than he ever had in his life. The blood on his hands not his own, rather from those of which lives he took instead. The wound he was left with? A painful gash, scarring his side and abdomen. He could’ve died, but he didn’t.After, he mellows out.. finds comfort in his best friend, focuses (albeit, poorly) on making his way through university. Somehow graduating with honours, and earning a second degree only a few years later.. now, presently, owning his own lawfirm in the city of Seoul. Memories haunt him, his injuries remind him, and he pretends the life he lives now makes up for all he’s been through. It doesn’t, but he hopes.
